Slot Zuylen Tournement 2024
In the blazing sun on Tournooiveld on September 1, 2024, the Slot Zuylento tournament was held. Passing cyclists and walkers were attracted by the sound of clanging arms and took a photo of the athletes in white suits. The tournament had been rescheduled from July this year to the September date due to bad weather.
The challenge trophy was taken home by the Amsterdam students of A.S.S.V. Esprit.
The Utrecht fencing association Pallós has had a special connection with Slot Zuylen for 26 years; the castle welcomes the Pallóti every year, and the association recently contributed to the crowdfunding for the restoration of the castle roof in which an amount of EUR 255.00 was donated.
